KNOW IT ALL

"We have been praying for you unceasingly and asking that you may attain full knowledge of His will through perfect wisdom and spiritual insight." -Colossians 1:9

The Lord probably wants to reveal much more to us about His will for our lives, families, marriages, jobs, churches, communities, etc. To receive more knowledge, even full knowledge, of God's will, we must pray for it. As we pray, Jesus may tell us to do something that doesn't make sense to us. He may tell us to put out into deep water and lower our nets for a catch, even though there's no chance of catching anything (Lk 5:4-5). If we obey by faith and not by sight (2 Cor 5:7), Jesus will break through in our lives. At this point, we will become convicted of our sins and repent (see Lk 5:8). This will strongly motivate us to witness for Jesus and become fishers of men and women (Lk 5:10). As we witness, we will gain great knowledge of God's will with perfect wisdom and spiritual insight.
Prayer, which leads to deeper faith, and repentance, which leads to witnessing for Jesus, is the way to know fully God's will for our lives. Pray, believe, repent, and witness. This will bring about full knowledge, perfect wisdom, and spiritual insight into God's will.

Father, tell me great things beyond reach of my knowledge (Jer 33:3).

"Then you will lead a life worthy of the Lord and pleasing to Him in every way. You will multiply good works of every sort." -Col 1:10
