Fr. Jozo's Prayers to the Holy Spirit

Fr. Jozo's Prayers to the Holy Spirit:
October 3, 2000 Siroki Brijeg
Come, O Most Holy Spirit, come to us today. We need your love, because we desire to go on the new way to return to the Father, to take the step to the Father. O Come, Holy Spirit, You who makes all things new. Today grant a miracle in us and through us. Change our hearts. Take from us our hearts of stone and give us a new heart, a heart that knows how to love, how to pray, how to forgive. A heart that knows how to embrace the cross and recognize the will of God and carry it to the end.

Come, O Most Holy Spirit, You who are our peace, come fill us with peace. You who are love, fill us with love and blessing and salvation. We are not here accidentally. We have been called, that we may be able to recognize our call and our mission. We ask You to come O Most Holy Spirit, that our masks may melt away, that our true face may be revealed before You.

Come, O Most Holy Spirit, may a miracle happen today: the beginning of our conversion, the beginning of our true devotion. Come, O Most Holy Spirit pour out Your grace and Your strength on Your Church and convert us. Sanctify us. Change us.

Come, O Most Holy Spirit, we are the Church united together in prayer with the Mother. As the disciples at the very beginning, united together with Her in prayer for the gift of Your Spirit, for the gift of love, that we may be freed from selfishness and hatred, that we may be freed from every evil, and that we may start to love, that we may start to forgive and to pray, that we may start to fast.

Come, O Most Holy Spirit, Come bless us. Come, change us.You who are prayer, come and anoint us with prayer that we may become the Church that believes in the power of prayer. Come, Most Holy Spirit, renew prayer in us, that we may become the renewers of family prayer.

Come, O Most Holy Spirit, come heal us, come bless us, come convert us. O You who anoints with Your Peace, with Your Joy, with Your Love. Come anoint us. In the last message O Blessed Mother, You say, that the one who prays, lives joy and peace and love. O Blessed Mother, here is the Church in prayer, here is the Church who desires to renew itself in prayer, firm in prayer, come to fall in love with prayer. O grant that these days may be the renewal of our prayer, of our faith through prayer, of our love through prayer, of a Christian life in prayer. Come, O Most Holy Spirit. Come, pour Yourself out upon us. The Church united together with the Mother is praying to you, You who make all things new. Grant that this Church may become new. It may become a Church of prayer, a holy Church, a sign amongst nations, your city on the hillside, your light on the way, Your Self.

Come, O Most Holy Spirit. Come and pour Yourself out upon us. Our Father who art in Heaven....Hail Mary, full of grace...Mother and Queen of Peace - pray for us. Mother of the Church - pray for us. Mother and Queen of the family - pray for us. Consolation of the Sorrowful - pray for us, help of Christians - pray for us, help of the sick - pray for us, gate of heaven - pray for us. In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

DECISION-MAKING

"It  is the decision of the Holy Spirit, and ours too." -Acts  15:28

Two  weeks from today, we will celebrate Pentecost. We will  have the possibility of  receiving in a new way the Holy Spirit, the Paraclete, Whom the Father will  send in Jesus' name (Jn 14:26). The Spirit plans to instruct us in everything  and remind us of all that Jesus told us (Jn 14:26). This instructing and  reminding from the Spirit, if discerned and heeded, will have such an effect on  our lives that our decisions will also be the decisions of the Holy Spirit  (Acts 15:28). Therefore, our decisions will be correct, life-changing,  life-giving, miraculously wise, and fruitful for God's kingdom.

Some  of us may have messed up our marriages, finances, employment, family life, and  lifestyle by a series of bad decisions. The way out of this situation is to  make good decisions by the power of the Spirit. Therefore, we must receive the  Holy Spirit. We must go into the upper room of prayer, repentance, and  conversion. There we will receive the Spirit, Who will change our lives,  hearts, minds, and decisions.

Prayer: Father, may I be able to hear and discern what the Spirit wishes to tell me.

Promise: "The city had no need of sun or moon, for the glory of God gave it light, and  its lamp was the Lamb." -Rv 21:23

Praise: Alleluia!  Jesus is the Resurrection and the  Life!  (Jn 11:25)  All glory be to Him!

Dear Family of Mary!

Here is the May 25, 2019 Message:

"Dear children! God permitted me, out of His mercy, to be with you, to instruct and lead you towards the way of conversion. Little children, you are all called to pray with all your heart for the plan of salvation to be realized for you and through you. Be aware, little children, that life is short and eternal life waits for you according to your merit. Therefore, pray, pray, pray to be worthy instruments in God's hands. Thank you for having responded to my call." (May 25, 2019)

Spinning Cross in Medjugorje

On Sunday, May 19, 2019 — our last day in Medjugorje, a bunch of us from our group witnessed the spinning, disappearing, pulsating of the giant cross on Mt. Krizevac. I’ve heard of this phenomena before, but this is the first time we’ve ever seen it… and was able to capture it on video. This cross is over 30 feet tall concrete on a mountain about a mile high that was carried up by hand in 1933. It has a relic of the True Cross in its base.
Cross starts spinning at 1 minute 25 seconds

Pope authorises pilgrimages to Medjugorje

date: 12.05.2019.
Pope Francis has decided to authorise pilgrimages to Medjugorje, which can now be officially organised by dioceses and parishes and will no longer take place only in a private capacity which as has so far been the case.
The announcement was made today during Mass, at the parish shrine which has become a destination for millions of pilgrims, by the Apostolic Nuncio Luigi Pezzuto in Bosnia-Herzegovina and Archbishop Henryk Hoser, the Holy See's Special Apostolic Visitator, as reported by the Vatican News.
Pope Francis has decided that this authorisation must be accompanied by "care to prevent these pilgrimages from being interpreted as an authentication of known events, which still require examination by the Church. Therefore,  care must be taken to avoid creating confusion or ambiguity from the doctrinal point of view regarding such pilgrimages.
This also concerns pastors of every order and level who intend to go to Medjugorje and celebrate or concelebrate there even in a solemn way", said the"ad interim" director of the Holy See Press Office, Alessandro Gisotti, responding to journalists' questions about the announcement on May 12, 2019.

Medjugorje: May 2, 2019 Message to Mirjana

"Dear children, with a motherly love I am calling you to respond to the great love of my Son, with pure and open hearts, with complete trust. I know the greatness of His love. I carried Him within me, the Host in the heart, the light and the love of the world. My children, also my addressing you is a sign of the love and tenderness of the Heavenly Father - a big smile filled with the love of my Son, a call to eternal life. Out of love, the Blood of my Son was shed for you. That Precious Blood is for your salvation, for eternal life. The Heavenly Father created man for eternal happiness. It is not possible for you who know the love of my Son and who follow Him to die. Life triumphed; my Son is alive. Therefore, my children, apostles of my love, may prayer show you the way and the means of spreading the love of my Son - prayer in the most exalted form. My children, also when you strive to live the words of my Son, you are praying. When you love the people whom you meet, you are spreading the love of my Son. It is love that opens the doors of Paradise. My children, from the beginning, I prayed for the Church. Therefore, I am also calling you, apostles of my love, to pray for the Church and her servants - for those whom my Son called. Thank you."   Video of Apparition  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZkR1gVsEtOE

Be Guided by the Holy Spirit

VATICAN CITY (CNS) — Christians must allow themselves to be guided by the Holy Spirit if they expect to live a Christian life, Pope Francis said.
Only through the Spirit can men and women “rise from our limitations, from our deaths,” the pope said in his homily April 30 during morning Mass at the Domus Sanctae Marthae.
“A Christian life — or a person who calls himself or herself a Christian — that does not leave space for the Spirit and does not allow the Spirit to go forward is a pagan life, dressed as a Christian one,” he said.
The pope centered his homily on the day’s Gospel reading in which Jesus speaks to Nicodemus about the need to be “born of the Spirit.”
Listening to and understanding God’s will through the power of the Holy Spirit, Jesus said, is similar to hearing the sound of wind blowing, yet “you do not know where it comes from or where it goes.”
Jesus’ message to Nicodemus, the pope explained, is that “we need to be reborn” and “give way to the Spirit.”
“The Spirit is the protagonist of Christian life; (it is) the Spirit — the Holy Spirit — that is in us, that accompanies us, that transforms us and is triumphant within us,” he said.
Pope Francis encouraged Christians to heed Christ’s words to his disciples after his resurrection and “receive the Holy Spirit” who will “be your companion in Christian life.”
“Let us ask the Lord,” the pope said, “to give us this knowledge that we cannot be Christians without walking with the Holy Spirit, without acting with the Holy Spirit, without letting the Holy Spirit be the protagonist in our lives.”
