Amazing news given by a priest at the Marian Conference in California
October 26, 2011
A Croatian priest Fr. Joseph Grbes gave everyone a little update at a
Medjugorje Peace conference in Irvine, CA in the U.S.
Throughout these 30 years
of apparitions in Medjugorje there were: 540,000 registered priests, Bishops,
Cardinals, and religious visited Medjugorje (These are "registered" so as father
stated when he spoke.
God only knows how many came that were unregistered.) 27,000,000
communions 532 proven and documented healings that are recorded at the parish.
520 men became priests directly related to a pilgrimage to Medjugorje.(We know
that 85 American, 36 German, 11 Irish so far.) 123 women became nuns directly
related to a pilgrimage to Medjugorje.
During the Youth Festival there were 525 priests there and 450 for the
evening prayer service and Mass.
Reverend Joseph Grbes, OFM was born in Rama,
Bosnia-Herzegovina. He joined the Franciscan Order in 1986 and studied in
Bosnia-Hercegovina, England and the USA. He presently serves in Chicago as
Pastor of St. Jerome Croatian Parish, while continuing his post-graduate work in
pastoral theology at the Catholic Theological Union in Chicago. A young man when
the Medjugorje visions began in 1981, Father has studied Our Lady’s messages
throughout these 30 years and encourages all to respond to her urgent call to
conversion and peace.
The numbers are correct, Medjugorje parish archivist Marija Dugandzic.

540,000 priests and religious in 30 years... that equates to 346 every week – even during the ward years when there was hardly a soul in Medjugorje!
The Medjugorje Parish office counts a priest every time they celebrate or concelebrate Mass. So one priest, during a week’s pilgrimage is counted seven times if he celebrates seven masses.
And then we have to allow for the same priests who make return pilgrimages year after year.
