Holy Spirit Rain Down

Holy Spirit rain down, rain down
Oh Comforter and Friend
How we need Your touch again
Holy Spirit rain down, rain down
Let Your power fall
Let Your voice be heard
Come and change our hearts
As we stand on Your Word

Father of light, from whom every good gift comes, send your Spirit into our lives with the power of a might wind, and by the flame of your wisdom open the horizons of our minds. Loosen our tongues to sing your praise in words beyond the power of speech, for without your Spirit man could never raise his voice in words of peace or announce the truth that Jesus is Lord who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit
one God, for ever. Amen

*Those who are led by the Spirit are the sons of God.
Saint Paul

Romans 8:26
In the same way, the Spirit helps us in our weakness. We do not
know what we ought to pray for, but the Spirit himself
intercedes for us with groans that words cannot express.

St. Augustine’s Prayer to the Holy Spirit.

Breathe in me O Holy Spirit that my thoughts may all be holy;
Act in me O Holy Spirit that my works, too, may be holy;
Draw my heart O Holy Spirit that I love but what is holy;
Strengthen me O Holy Spirit to defend all that is holy;
Guard me then O Holy Spirit that I always may be holy.
