"Why Medugorje" is a new film by Croation director Josip Loncar. It documents his own personal experience when he visited Medugorje for the first time in 1987. This film very much captures the Spirit of Medugorje from a pilgrim's perspective. As an added bonus narration is by renowned scripture scholar Tony Hickey. After watching this film, you will have many good reasons why you should consider visiting Medugorje.
Comment: Upon hearing of the apparitions of the Blessed Virgin Mary I felt a strong desire to go there. It was not a wish to get assurances of the authentcity there, not to experience something extraodinary, or even to be healed of some sort of illness, rather it was a need for peace within my soul. I received the Catholic faith from my parents as an inheritance as well as a solid formation in the christian life, but never the less as far as I was concerned there were many questions that were still  left unanswered.....

No one comes to Medjugorje by accident. You come because you have received a personal invitation, a personal calling from Mary the Mother of God.
You are in Medjugorje because you have said YES to her call.
What a great grace and blessing you have received.
God Bless You,
Ed Sousa Sr.

Father of light, from whom every good gift
comes, send your Spirit into our lives with
the power of a might wind, and by the flame
of your wisdom open the horizons of our minds.
Loosen our tongues to sing your praise in words
beyond the power of speech, for without your spirit man could never raise his voice in words
of peace or announce the truth that Jesus is Lord
who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit one God, for ever. Amen
*Those who are led by the Spirit are the sons of God.
