A Reflection by Sr. Isabel of Our Lady's message of August 25, 2010

Message from Our Lady of Medjugorje
August 25, 2010

Dear children! With great joy, also today, I desire to call you anew: pray, pray, pray. May this time be a time of personal prayer for you. During the day, find a place where you will pray joyfully in a recollected way. I love you and bless you all. Thank you for having responded to my call.

A Little Reflection ( by Sr. Isabel) With renewed joy, Our Lady greets us today and encourages us, once again, to make prayer a special part of our daily schedule. She knows that we are bombarded with distractions and things which can take away even our desire to pray. Yet, prayer is the secret to a happy life and to our appreciating all that God has blessed us with. We may be in the midst of great suffering or we may know deep joy. But whatever it is, God is in control. When we spend time each day in prayer, we grow deeper into that relationship with God which brings joy and peace regardless of our daily circumstances. Our Lady suggests that we find a quiet place where distractions will be minimized and where we can focus on God, be still and listen to Him. How consoling and encouraging it is to hear Our Lady say she loves us and blesses us. Amen, amen. Thanks be to God.

On a Personal Note( from Sr. Isabel)
I will be going to Medjugorje on September 9 where I will remember you and your intentions. No need to send them to me. Our Lady knows what they are and she will take them to her Son, Jesus.
