Sister Briege McKenna-Miracles Do Happen.

"Miracles Do Happen" by Sister Briege McKenna

"In May of 1981, I was ministering in Rome and I had the privilege of praying with Father Tomislav Vlasic, a priest from Medjugorje. He had asked me to pray for his parish ministry back in Yugoslavia. I received one of the images I often get. I saw a white church with twin steeples. Father was sitting in the main celebrant's chair in the sanctuary of this church and streams of living water were flowing from the altar. Many people were coming and cupping the water in their hands to drink of this water.

Father Tomislav was very consoled by this image because his parish was going through hard times. The church was experiencing great difficulties. The government was less than sympathetic toward the church. It was about a month later, on June 24, that Our Lady made her first appearance to the five youths of Medjugorje"

Does Our Lady Really Invite Pilgrims to Medjugorje

Greetings, From ever since my first visit to Medjugorje from long time ago, i am hearing from many people/sources ( including sister Emmaunel book) that every pilgrim that visits Medjugorje is invited in person by our lady the most holy virgin Mary, like i and everyone of you invite specific people to our birthdays parties. Moreover, i personally believe in this issue, i had an awesome experience and i will tell you its story hereunder:

In my first visit to Medjugorje in summer 2000, there was a girl that came with us, this girl who is called Micha, was very skeptical about this specfic point ( the invitation of our lady in person to every pilgrim) and she used to laugh on us whenever we told her "enjoy your stay at medjugorje" because it is our lady who has invited you to this place totally like you invite your friends to your birthday party.

Days passed until the last day in our stay, when we had to climb Criczevac, when we arrived to the mount in front of the big white cross, a Lebanese priest asked us to kneel in front of the cross and pray the rosary, while doing so, Micha was bothered by a small piece of boulder/stone and therefore she was forced to move it in order to kneel properly and while doing so, guess what she found written on the other side of the stone??!!........it was her name written clearly "Micha", maybe another pilgrim who's name is Micha had written her name on this small piece of stone....

At that moment, Micha was literally motionless/speechless and from ever since this story she is a witness of the personal invitation issue and she tells her story everyday to new people... What about you?? what do you think? God bless, Joseph. - Medjugorje Forum

Our Lady's Medjugorje Message to Marija

"Dear children! In a special way I call you all to pray for my intentions so that, through your prayers, you may stop Satan's plan over this world, which is further from God every day, and which puts itself in the place of God and is destroying everything that is beautiful and good in the souls of each of you. Therefore, little children, arm yourselves with prayer and fasting so that you may be conscious of how much God loves you and may carry out God's will. Thank you for having responded to my call."

Hiding From God

Hiding from God
"O Lord, you have searched me and you know me…. Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? If I go up to the heavens, you are there; if I make my bed in the depths, you are there. If I rise on the wings of the dawn, if I settle on the far side of the sea, even there your hand will guide me, your right hand will hold me fast. If I say, 'Surely the darkness will hide me and the light become night around me,' even the darkness will not be dark to you; the night will shine like the day, for darkness is as light to you. For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well.

"You may have read about the iron-fisted professor (supposedly at the University of California) who was extremely rigid with his students. In reminding them about their final exam for the course he was teaching, he said they were not to begin their test until he told them exactly when they were to commence, and after exactly one hour they were to finish precisely at the time he said they were to stop, and immediately bring their test and place it on the front desk as they left the class room. If they failed to follow his instructions precisely, he would fail them. So … at the final exam all the students followed the professor's instructions exactly as he demanded—except for one student who kept writing after they were told to stop.

The professor demanded that he stop writing, but he didn't. He just kept working on his final exam. When he was finished, he brought his test to the front desk where the furious professor was sitting."Why didn't you follow my instructions?" the professor demanded. "Because I needed more time," the student replied."Don't you know I am going to fail you? What is your name?""You mean you don't know my name?" the student replied."How could I?" the professor barked, "I have 400 students in this class!""Good," said the student as he slipped his test into the pile of 399 other examination papers on the professor's desk—and walked out of the room!

*In this life we can hide all sorts of things from all sorts of people, but we can never hide from God. He sees all. He knows all. And he loves and accepts us anyhow. But we can also be sure that, unless forgiven, our sins will find us out—even if it is eventually!

Prayer, "Dear God, thank you that I can never hide from you, that you know all about me, and that you always know where I am and what I am doing. That can be both frightening and comforting. Help me to so live that I will never need to be afraid of your seeing me, and help me to take comfort in the fact that no matter what circumstances I am in, you will never leave me nor forsake me. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer. Gratefully[,] in Jesus' name, amen."1. Psalm 139:1, 7-14

Somewhere Over the Rainbow

An American priest, on his last night in Medjugorje, decided not to go to sleep, but rather spend the night in prayer. Around 2:00 a.m. in the morning, he began walking back from St. James Church through a path overlooked by Cross Mountain. In the silence of the night, on the deserted path, he encountered a young, beautiful woman. She was nervous in his presence, so he reassured her that he meant her no harm. She had just arrived in Medjugorje. Slowly the girl told this gentle priest how she had run away from home at an early age to follow her dream to become a great singer on stage, but things hadn’t worked out the way she had hoped. Being hungry with no money, she was led into a life of destitution to earn her money, as women in desperate situations sometimes do. Not only were her dreams broken, but her heart as well. Then she heard about Medjugorje—that it was a place where hearts could go to be made new. She desperately wanted a new heart. She scraped together what money she could which was just enough to get her to Medjugorje, but she didn’t have a place to stay. The priest told her that he was leaving early in the morning, that he had wanted to spend the night in prayer, so she could have his room for the night. He gave her what he had, which was hope, and told her he was certain Our Lady would take care of her from there.
He asked her if she still sings, and when she said no, he asked if she would, at least, sing a song for him. She was silent for a moment, but then began to sing on that empty path, in the middle of a grassy meadow, under the moon and a sky full of shining stars, with the dark silhouette of the mountains of Medjugorje standing as if they were the backdrops of a large stage. She sang softly and beautifully, bringing tears to the priest’s eyes as he saw the beauty of the girl’s soul break through the brokenness of her heart. And what was the song she sang?
Somewhere, over the rainbow way up high There’s a land that I’ve heard of, once in a lullaby Somewhere over the rainbow Skies are blue and the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true… If happy little bluebirds fly Beyond the rainbow…why oh why can’t I? Sometimes my heart is broken because souls do not know what Our Lady offers them in Medjugorje. Do you have a broken heart, broken dreams, broken lives? Bring them to the Mother, to the land where the dreams that you dare to dream really do come true. That’s the miracle of Medjugorje. Leading You to the Place Broken Hearts are Mended! Great story indeed!_________________I love you Mary....Medjugorje Forum

Revelations of Pope John Paul II

REVELATION JOHN PAUL II WAS WOUNDED DURING TRIP CONFIRMS HE IS 'POPE OF FATIMA'
The revelation that Pope John Paul II was wounded during a visit to Fatima in 1982 further confirms that he is the Fatima Pope, and the Pope of the Secret.
Recall that in the famous third secret, seer Lucia dos Santos -- who recorded it -- described the vision of a Pope endangered -- targeted:
"And we saw in an immense light that is God: 'something similar to how people appear in a mirror when they pass in front of it' a Bishop dressed in White 'we had the impression that it was the Holy Father'. Other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious going up a steep mountain, at the top of which there was a big Cross of rough-hewn trunks as of a cork-tree with the bark; before reaching there the Holy Father passed through a big city half in ruins and half trembling with halting step, afflicted with pain and sorrow, he prayed for the souls of the corpses he met on his way; having reached the top of the mountain, on his knees at the foot of the big Cross he was killed by a group of soldiers who fired bullets and arrows at him, and in the same way there died one after another the other Bishops, Priests, men and women Religious, and various lay people of different ranks and positions."
The Vatican has discerned that the fallen Pope was probably John Paul II, even though (thank God) he did not die.
That determination was presented by Cardinal Joseph Ratzinger (now Pope Benedict XVI).
Consider that Pope John Paul II was instrumental in bringing down Communism in Russia -- and that Russia was a main theme of the Fatima secrets. Consider that he was shot by Agca on May 13, 1981, the Fatima anniversary day (but survived-- thanks to the Blessed Mother!). Consider that he would be the Pope to visit Fatima the most. Consider that he was the Pope whose consecration, as requested at Fatima, was finally accepted by the Blessed Mother (according to Lucia). Consider that he was the pontiff who released the secret. And now consider that he was nearly killed a second time a year after his shooting at Fatima itself (May 12, 1982, a day before that same anniversary), when a disturbed priest stabbed him.
Is there any doubt left that John Paul II was the "Fatima Pope" (the Pope of the secret)? Spiritdaily

Hearts are Changed at Medjugorje.

HEARTS CHANGE AT MEDJUGORJE
• There are some places and some people in life that ‘mark’ you forever. Once you have come in contact with them, they revive in you everything that seemed buried within your heart forever. Then you recapture a life full of joy, serenity, and purpose. You understand the reason you are living, where you have come from, and where you are going. You take your life back into your hands with vigour. You rediscover a design of love in your life that trials and difficulties have buried. Then you feel like a new person, and even others are aware that something has changed your life.
The place that has ‘marked’ me and millions of other people is called Medjugorje. It is different from other places because there is a ‘Presence’ there that you do not see but whose effects and benefits you gather. It is a Presence that speaks to our hearts and manifests itself in a personal manner for each one of us. This presence is Mary the Mother of God.
In Medjugorje we discover that this mother, the Queen of Peace, wants to enter our lives. That is the reason she says to us: “Dear Children, accept me in your lives, because I desire to bestow my love upon you.”

Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

John, "I have baptized you with water, But HE will baptize you in the Holy Spirit.

Come Holy Spirit, come by means of the powerful intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, your well beloved spouse.

A Invitation from Jesus

“On this mountain the LORD of hosts will provide for all peoples a feast of rich food and choice wines.... I shall live in the house of the Lord all the days of my life.... I can do all things in Him who strengthens me.... The kingdom of Heaven may be likened to a king who gave a wedding feast for his son....

"Accepting the Invitation" Most people can think of a special invitation in their life that meant the world to them. Whether it was being invited to a cool birthday party in grade school, or asked out to the prom in high school, or an opportunity to show the best of one’s work at a crucial moment, or a chance to meet a personal hero - such invitations are certainly welcomed as dreams come true, and no one could ever imagine purposely turning such solicitations down in favor of the boring day-to-day obligations of life.

And yet, in the Gospel, Christ complains that many turn down His invitation to the Heavenly Wedding Banquet. He calls us to the fulfillment of our hearts’ desires, but so many ignore or even spurn His generous invitation. Even those of us who, with our baptism, have formally and joyfully accepted His invitation, are too often guilty of dragging our feet, delaying in our replies and making excuses for not joining whole-heartedly in the celebration.

In fact, Holy Mass and the Eucharist is the foretaste of the Heavenly Wedding Banquet, for it is our privileged invitation to partake of Heavenly food and revel in the real presence of the Bridegroom. So, let our enthusiasm for the celestial “pre-party” reflect our eagerness and excitement for the Heavenly Banquet, and may our zeal and pious preparation attest to our gratitude and enthusiastic acceptance of the invitation to Life!

Pope Benedict Shines A Light On Medjugorje Message.

POPE SHINES LIGHT ON MEDJUGORJE MESSAGE

Before leaving for his pilgrimage to Lourdes Pope Benedict XVI addressed these words to the people of France. I go as a messenger of peace and fraternity... May Mary be for all of you, and in particular for young people, a Mother always attentive to the needs of her children, a light of hope that illuminates and guides your ways.
Three months ago Our Lady gave these words to Mirjana, her messenger of peace at Medjugorje... Dear children, I am with you by the grace of God, to make you great - great in faith and love - all of you! You whose heart has been hard as a stone by sin and guilt, but you devout souls, I DESIRE TO ILLUMINATE WITH A NEW LIGHT. Pray that my prayer may meet open hearts that I may be able to illuminate them with the strength of faith and open the ways of love and hope. Be persevering. I will be with you. From the Diary of Saint Faustina

Diary of Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska

When I was attending Mass in a certain church with another sister, I felt the greatness and majesty of God; I felt the church was permeated by God. His majesty enveloped me and, though it terrified me, it filled me with peace and joy. I knew that nothing could oppose His will. Oh, if only all souls knew who is living in our churches, there would not be so many outrages and so much disrespect in these holy places!

Polish Bishop visits Medjugorje with 28 Priests.

From Medjugorje.hr: On September 23 and 24, 2008,

Mons. Wieslaw Alojzy Mering, Bishop of the diocese Włocławek, and 28 priests from the dioceses Włocławek, Gniezno, Chełmińskiej and Toruń (Poland) visited Medjugorje.

The diocese Włocławek is known by the fact that sister Faustina, Fr. Maximilian Kolbe and Kardinal Wyszynski were born there. From September 15 to 26, they were together on a journey of prayer and study in Slovenia, Croatia, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina. They visited different shrines and places of prayer, and one of the important points of their journey was Medjugorje where they were received by Fr. Miljenko Šteko, the Vicar of the Herzegovinian Franciscan province and Director of the Information Center MIR Medjugorje.

He spoke to them about the life in the parish, about the pastoral activities, about Our Lady’s apparitions and messages, and about their significance. The Bishop and the priests participated in the evening prayer program. They also climbed Apparition Hill. On Wednesday, September 24, Mons Mering presided Holy Mass for Polish pilgrims and gave a homily. Some witnesses say that he celebrated this Mass in Polish with a great joy, and that he appreciated very much the encounter with God’s people from all over the world. Mons. Mering and the group also visited the Franciscan church in Mostar, where he also presided Holy Mass. This is what Mons. Mering said about his impressions in Medjugorje:

"This whole group of priests had the desire to come and see this place, which is for 27 years now playing an important role on the religious map of Europe. Yesterday, we had the occasion to pray the rosary in the church together with the faithful. We notice that everything is natural and beautiful here, although there are some difficulties about the recognition of Medjugorje. There is a deep faith of people who pray, and we hope that all that is happening here shall be confirmed in the future.

It is quite normal that the Church is prudent, but the fruits are visible to everyone and they touch the heart of each pilgrim who is coming here. Some of our priests, who already came here in the past, notice that Medjugorje is growing, and I wish to all those who take care of the pilgrims here to be patient, perseverant, and to pray a lot. They are doing a good work; surely they shall harvest good fruits."_________________"Pray! Pray! Pray!" -Our Lady of Medjugorje

Our Lady's October 2, 2008 message to Mirjana

“Dear children, again I call you to faith. My Motherly heart desires for your heart to be open, so that it could say to your heart: believe. My children, only faith will give you strength in life’s trials. It will renew your soul and open the ways of hope. I am with you. I gather you around me because I desire to help you, so that you can help your neighbors to discover faith, which is the only joy and happiness of life. Thank you.”

To his Angels the Lord has given a command about you.

Guardian Angels -Full Custody

For to His angels He has given command about you, that they guard you in all your ways." —Psalm 91:11 Our lives are so precious to God that He has created and assigned an angel specifically for each one of us. "Beside each believer stands an angel as protector and shepherd leading him to life. The Lord says: "My angel is with you, and he is the custodian of your lives. For anyone who thinks they're in charge of their own life, it's important to know that a guardian angel has been authorized by God to take full custody of that life. Your guardian angel is focused constantly on Jesus (Mt 18:10; Jn 1:51). "Christ is the center of the angelic world. Your angel's life revolves around Jesus, devoted to your personal welfare and care (Ps 91:11; Bar 6:6).

God specifically declares: "I am sending an angel before you" (Ex 23:20). Your angel is constantly beholding the face of Christ. This gives your angel a privileged position to instantly hear, receive, and carry out orders specifically related to you. Your angel is attentive to you at all times. Therefore, obey God's command to "be attentive to" your angel and "heed his voice.

Father, thank You for loving me so personally as to create and assign an angel specifically for me. I will repent so as to cause You and my angel to rejoice (Lk 15:10).
Prayer-Angel of God, my guardian dear, through God's love commits to me here, ever this day and night, be at my side, to rule and guide, Amen.
